Combined Bearing Details:

Applications:

Combined bearing or Combination bearing is used in applications such as forklifts and elevators. These are designed as per the technical requirements of the OEMs. They are also used where linear motion is required.

Kavitsu combined bearings incorporate such designs that give the best component to external load configuration. Radial and axial load rating is perfectly balanced. As a result of this, the linear motion is smooth with minial sliding friction. This in turn results in less wear of the channels and internal components and saves the power. Noise level is decreased along with the vibrations incurred.

Since it reduces the pressure value between beam and the bearing, life of the bearing profile is increased.

Assembling the bearing is not difficult. A plate can directly be welded to the axel of the combined bearing and it can be then mounted on the particular sized channel.

The material of construction for the combined bearing is alloy steel. Proper heat treatment is essential and it is maintained at around 60 HRC. The components included in the combined bearing is the outer race, inner race, radial ring, welding bolt and center pin.

Special molycoat grease is used inside this bearing, which ensures life long lubrication. A rubber seal is used to avoid leakage and also to ensure that no foreign particles enter the rolling element, which may damage it.

Combined bearing comes in two different series: Light and Heavy.

Light series has the range from 52 mm to 150 mm. The Heavy series has the range from 165 mm to 309 mm outer diameter.

Applications include telescopic fork lifts, lift masts, tool changing systems in special machines, robot tracks, linear actuating systems, fast picks, elevators and so on.

FAQ

What is a Combined Bearing?

A combined bearing is a bearing that supports both radial and axial loads in a single compact unit, ensuring smooth and precise linear motion.

Why is a Combined Bearing used?

It is used to reduce friction, improve load distribution, minimize wear, and increase the service life of linear motion systems.

Where is a Combined Bearing used?

Combined bearings are commonly used in forklifts, elevators, robot tracks, linear actuators, lift masts, and automated machinery.

How does a Combined Bearing work?

It combines radial and axial bearing elements to carry loads simultaneously, providing smooth movement with low friction and reduced vibration.

Which industries use Combined Bearings?

They are widely used in material handling, warehouse automation, robotics, construction equipment, elevators, and manufacturing industries.

How do you choose the right Combined Bearing?

Select a bearing based on load capacity, channel size, operating environment, speed, and application requirements. Light and Heavy Series options are available for different duty cycles.

What maintenance is required for a Combined Bearing?

Inspect the bearing regularly for wear, keep the channels clean, and check seals. Bearings with lifetime grease require minimal maintenance under normal operating conditions.
